Michael Richards launches business growth consultancy: 2nd Head

January 2010 - Successful business leader, Michael Richards, has launched a business growth consultancy called 2nd Head.

The consultancy offers a combination of strategic advice and support to all types of businesses to help them overcome barriers to growth.

Commenting on his decision to create 2nd Head, Michael says: “Having worked with many smaller businesses I’ve noticed that while many of them start well, they often reach a point just a few years into trading when the business hits a period of transition and they don’t know how to cope. I want 2nd Head to offer exactly the kind of sound and pragmatic advice that organisations like this need, but minus the confusing jargon that you often see with big consultancies. My team and I are passionate about business and I want to show that in the type of consultancy we deliver.”

Richards is best known as former C.E.O of HR and Payroll software supplier, Snowdrop Systems, sold to Sage UK in 2007 for the value of £17 million. His experience in the foundation and growth of Snowdrop will set him in good stead for offering consultancy to other businesses. He brings with him a team of highly experienced professionals, each specialising in their own area of business. Having worked with all his colleagues previously, Michael comments: “There is a great deal of trust within our team. We work well together and that’s a must when going into another organisation: it has a high impact on the quality of service that we deliver.”
